I'm not still in Hilton Head, but these photos are a lot more interesting than any I would have taken the last couple of days, I promise.
I love the shimmering sunlight, the blue sky and umbrellas, the green plants...
So why do I love it just as much in black and white?

I think I like the color one just a teensy bit more. But the B&W is nice, too.
I like them equally in black and white. They are gorgeous pictures. The shapes of the clouds, the lines and shadows of the tall grasses-- they are beautiful in color and without color as well.
