The trees sporting these pods (?) are in the park, but I don't remember seeing them last year. I have no idea what they are, but they are a gorgeous color!
Aren't these the pods for a type of maple tree? When Eli was little, I remember he taste tested one and I had to call poison control. I think the one he tasted was green, though. I like the bright colors in this shot.
