Day 59 1/2 Addendum

I was commenting earlier today about the abrupt change in our weather, from a gorgeous sunny day to a strange haziness over everything. I tried to photograph the eerie effect it produced, but nothing really did it justice. I just read that a controlled burn 50 miles away resulted in extremely high levels of soot in the Atlanta air late this afternoon, causing smog alerts and warnings about asthma attacks. So I just happily walked in the park, oblivious to the dangerous levels, thinking how strange the weather had turned. Thankfully, it didn't seem to affect me at all, but apparently some people had big problems.
